weatherman90 7 Posted January 13, 2005 The commercials were advertising the Charmin paper towels, Dick Wilson played "Mr. Whipple" in them for over 30 years. I'm not sure if they were aired outside of the U.S. however, that could explain why you haven't heard of him.

Guest Captain Mainwaring Posted January 13, 2005 Clive Dunn Lives in Portugal you know. Weatherman, are you named after the Dylan song? Or the radical 60's political group. We need to know.
Guest Captain Competition Posted January 14, 2005 Clive Dunn Lives in Portugal you know.Weatherman, are you named after the Dylan song? Or the radical 60's political group. We need to know. It is none of these things. Mr Weatherman is perpetrating a subtle act of irony with his many enthusiastic readers. He is in fact neither a "man", nor is it necessary to guess "whether" at least 75% of new posts at any given time originate from his sagacious quill. C. Josco 49 Posted January 14, 2005 Weatherman90 means neither, I want to become a weatherman, I was born in 1990 or 90. Suddenly I feel very old. When I was Weatherman90's age the photocopier was still to be introduced. Is it time for my Horlicks yet?
Guest Stefan Posted January 14, 2005 Got a little proposal: What if the man with the highest reward on the "FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitive"-list would be automatically nominated for the next year?
Larry Pestilence III 6 Posted January 14, 2005 Not sure this pic quite gets the point across, but Gordon Brown looked seriously out of shape on the BBC news today. He looks a prime candidate to do a John Smith.
Captain Oates 21 Posted January 14, 2005 He did look a bit off colour. A sort of John Major spitting image puppet colour. Kind of scarlet? or more sort of oaty?

Guest IYG Posted January 15, 2005 Got a little proposal: What if the man with the highest reward on the "FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitive"-list would be automatically nominated for the next year? That would be Osama Bin Laden. And it doesn't seem like they are going to catch him any time soon.
Handrejka 1,904 Posted January 15, 2005 Anyone know if Henry Morgenthaler the abortion rights pioneer and Holocaust survivor is still alive. He'll be in early 80s by now. Might be one to watch for the future.

Handrejka 1,904 Posted January 15, 2005 I can't seem to find any info on him, I doubt he's famous enough. He's famous enough to have had a film made about him. There's lots of information about him on the web, unfortunately mostly sites by anti-abortionists. The only thing I can't find out is if he's still alive http://www.albertawatson.com/movies/vhenry.html
