What kind of an attitude is that, man? Don't you know we had a death in the las few hours of 2004?

What's to say there won't be two more this year or even three?

Get a grip for pity's sake!

You might have had a point if Richard Pryor hadn't obliged recently.

Anyway I think 12 is a good result, very respectable.

Indeed, there is still a chance of another death this year. It's not like there must be a space of a month between deaths.

Besides, most of them are old and Christmas is likely to depress them due to a massive increase in the amount of socks they own (all except Al Lewis).

;)

Iain you ignorant fool.......theres more motrin in a bottle of motrin than a bottler of Advil which means there's more than a full week left to the year which means more people could die. Have you ever noticed the number of deaths in the week after christmas or right after chanukkah and Kwanzzzza? Merciful heavens the number of despondant persons who give up on life at that point because they failed in getting the gift they wanted for themself or for another is amazingly high and leads to a lack of desire to go on living. Your attitude is shameful Iain and I hope Santa doesnt stop by your place this year.

Besides, Christmastime is a great time for Celebrity death...

I personally think we're done for the year, but I certainly haven't given up hope. I was surprised that Richard Pryor died and I wouldn't mind being surprised again by a contestant on the current DL. 2004 and Artie Shaw proved that it's not over 'till it's over.

And even if it were over, 12 is a respectable game in my opinion.

Just because I happened to enjoy the spirit of Christmas. I mean Tempus

your avatars lately have been of random old - time movie stars i'm guessing from

the 30's and 40's. What's wrong with good old Father Christmas? It's not

half as bad as ATJ's latest. I think he's gone mad..

Perhaps I shall change my avatar later tonight because I wanted the

Santa Clause who was eating fried chicken and chugging Jack Daniels

but I just couldn't find what I wanted. ;)

So is everybody going to enjoy Christmas even if there aren't any more deaths? Or will all this good health ruin the holidays for anyone?

I haven't enjoyed christmas for 20 years,

sooner it's over the better, I'm getting quietly pissed, and blocking out the horror.

I agree. I don't think any of our candidates are going to pull an Artie Shaw on us, like what happened last year

It would be a pleasant surprise, though.
