How close to "everyone" knowing it does it have to be before it stops being a secret? 

To be fair, I'm assuming Bojo's actually telling the truth here, the various PMs in the last days were likely made aware because they'd have to drop everything and deal with her death at the moment it occured. Debateable whether Bojo could have gathered the required gravitas and looked suitably smart and bereft had she died on his watch.

I'd assume he's telling the truth too, it must have been something - secret or not, why lie about it?

Still, I suppose it's possible he did since pathological liars sometimes don't need a reason.

 

Incidentally - probably need to change that "enrusted with barnacle, but still unsinkable' subtitle, since, well, she sank.

His speech he made in the Commons, the one he likely would have made had he been PM at the time, was pretty good though. Better than Truss'.
