Someone had a piss on the pitch during a World Cup game a few years back. One of the Americans?

I assume charon/Spade/TMIB/someone will have the answer faster than it takes me to google it...

Aye, so far as I can see she went one over on him by doing it on film as well. Some discussion available on line but photos of exactly what he did seem unavailable unless I'm looking in the wrong place. I mean, if he got his cock out and did it to disrespect the home fans that's one thing, if his bottle went down his shorts and came back full of yellow fluid, that's a bit different. Right?

Lucozade have been handing out bottles of piss to footballers and sports people for years.

I do not see an issue.

DaMarcus Beasley, apparently. In 2002. Thought it was more recent.

Was great to see Ameobi but one past Sunderland after one of our more dismal performances by our side on Monday.

Great trivia question:

Of the 139 Premier League-era managers who were British or Irish that have managed four or more games, only two have a win ratio of at least 50%. One is Alex Ferguson. Who's the other?

This has trick question written all over it.

Tactics Tim Sherwood? Thinking of folk who had short but relatively OK runs, rather than your Allardyces or Moyes.

Tactics Tim isn't a bad shout, but it's someone with a shorter managerial run.

Nope. The clue is kinda in the question: he only managed four games. At the end of a season....

Brooking at the Ham had that didn't he?

Brooking does have a 50%+ win ratio as West Ham manager, but only three of his games were in the Premier League. The rest were in the Championship after Roeder was fired.

Fucking Giggs. Forgot about him..

I went to look up Sherwood afterwards, and it turns out I completely forgot about his reign as Aston Villa boss. Completely ruined my otherwise perfectly good answer with all those losses, the sod.

Whereas 14 foreign-born managers have a 50%+ win ratio: Ranieri, Van Gaal, Villas-Boas, Klopp, Hiddink, Benitez, Scolari, Wenger, Pellegrini, Mancini, Ancelotti, Mourinho, Guardiola, Conte.

The best win percentage for a British manager who didn't manage Manchester United or Liverpool (thus eliminating Evans, Rodgers and Dalglish)? Bruce Rioch.

Spoiler

Seems like the answer has already been given but was it Ryan Giggs?

^

14 wins
7 draws
3 losses?

Or something like that?

What I got from here, and a rough guess from googling the Guardian and BBC from the time..

Funnily I was thinking Gary McAllister from Houllier's other heart attack...don't think he was in charge of Leeds or Coventry in the top flight.
