Grim Reaper 186 Posted September 23, 2004 Hey man - give us some credit - it has been changed to "former idiot" Stedman's Medical Dictionary defines "idiot" as A person of profound mental retardation having a mental age below three years and generally being unable to learn connected speech or guard against common dangers. So aren't we all technically former idiots?... Of course, it may exclude some of the drive-by ranters who probably claim to have been born with a mental age above that of a 3 year old and never looked back... Guest Guest Posted September 29, 2004 That's mean! Ronald Regan was not an idiot..and everyone should know not to speak ill of the dead. Shame on you!
Anubis the Jackal 77 Posted September 29, 2004 OK then Guest, Reagan was not an idiot and his selling arms to Iran, a regime commited to the downfall of Western values, was a tactical masterstroke which has led to eternal peace and prosperity in the Middle East. If we may not speak ill of the dead, then howsabout saying that Vlad the Impaler was a decent chap, Hitler was kind to animals and Fred West was a bundle of laughs if you got to knew him. Nope, doesn't work does it.
Typhoid Harry 23 Posted September 29, 2004 That's mean! Ronald Regan was not an idiot..and everyone should know not to speak ill of the dead. Shame on you! And, of course, Richard Nixon was not a crook. I know because I heard him say it. You'd like to think one wouldn't speak ill of the dead, but then you wouldn't want to ask me about my maternal grandmother, either.
Guest Samson Posted October 1, 2004 Ronald did do a lot for the Nation, and he did make it into that office, unlike most of us, we got to give him a little credit. On the other hand I really think that this is a great site! I think that it is good for all of us to come in contact with the subject of death. 10 out of 10 people die. 152,000 people die every single day. I hope that we all have a plan in place for waht we are going to do after we die. Hopefully we are all good enouph to go to heaven, If you are wondering if you are good enouph check out www.needgod.com it changed my life. I am not going to preach or anything, but death is coming for us all, and hopefully we are all ready when it comes. Later, Samson
Guest Mabus is upon you Posted October 3, 2004 As you limeys would say: This just isn't cricket. Poor ron would turn in his tomb if he could see that biblical whore Blair shaking the hand that sent Pan Am 103 to it's fate. The only idiots are you scum swilling inbred degenerates that keep the Blair antichrist figure in office. Beware limeys for the 25 headed beast will cast it's gaze eastwards, and the shadow of Mabus will darken your lands. Beware your fate summoned by your own hand........ Teddy 21 Posted October 4, 2004 Poor ron would turn in his tomb if he could see that biblical whore Blair shaking the hand that sent Pan Am 103 to it's fate. Course, this wouldn't be the same Ron who, as Anubis has already pointed out, didn't so much shake the hand of the Ayatollah, as put a gun in it? And as we all know, it wasn't Libya that brought down Pan Am 103, it was the Palestinians, at the behest of Iran, in revenge for the US downing an Iranian passenger jet just a few months before. Sometimes, we need to look beyond the issue of guilt, and try to find truth. The two are not the same.... for example, you may not think Ron was guilty of being an idiot - but it is the truth
Guest BIG BROTHER Posted October 6, 2004 I know, let's take a poll of Air Traffic Controllers and see how many of them think Regan was an IDIOT or a legendary President... Edit for Mod Abuse: Too loud. (TH)

Guest chris Posted October 14, 2004 found your site on google looking to find out names of celebs. recently departed. (Rodney D.) Pretty neat site until I saw the description for Ronald Reagan. Very disturbing that you would find no other words to describe one of the greatest Presidents that ever lived. I can only assume this is another site for radical left loonies... hello and goodbye. Moosey 3 Posted October 15, 2004 found your site on google looking to find out names of celebs. recently departed. (Rodney D.)I would hazard a confident guess that the name you're after is "Dangerfield". Glad we could be of service. I can only assume this is another site for radical left looniesIt certainly is. Just in case you should ever return (you never know when you may need to find info on another dead celebrity!), let me offer a public service, and direct you to the site of a right wing loonie. Pretty neat site until I saw the description for Ronald Reagan.Very disturbing that you would find no other words to describe one of the greatest Presidents that ever lived. I can only assume this is another site for radical left loonies... hello and goodbye. Why do you find disturbing the fact that some people found him to act like an idiot IN THEIR OPINION Get off the 'America is great' soapbox and join the global internet community Ronnie was a much better statesman than people realised, but then even the US Press lampooned him all the time. Just Grow up. This is a website dedicated to observing the passing of (generally) old people, and the website is run by people who make their own commentary about the people on the list. If you disagree, fine, but I bet y'all voted bush back in
Guest Franco File Posted November 10, 2004 Ron appeared to be a loveable granfatherly type, he smiled alot, and was both hospitable and gregarious. He read ably from the tele-prompter, could tell a folksy joke, and cozied up to foreign nobility and wealthy Americans. He broke the law ( Iran -contra affair ) and got away with it. He kicked ass in Grenada. He sent 241 Marines to their death in Lebanon - then he cut and ran. He broke the Air Traffic Controllers' Union. As head of the Screen Actors' Guild he testified against his brothers before the discredited House Special Committee on Un-American Activities and had them Black-Listed. Ron list of accomplishments includes laying the groundwork which allowed a completely evil and absolute idiot to assume his position in 2000 and again in 2004. I think idiot should be reserved for Bush II, and Ron should get something new and more apprpriate.

football_fan 42 Posted November 23, 2004 Ronald Regan did appear at times to be absent minded, but I hold a lot of respect for him for puting the policies in place that hastened the end of the cold war. He did have his faults, such as the Iran Contra Affair and the ill advised deployment of US troops to Lebanon, but I still consider him to be a great American president.
