Greatest Deaths Ever

Recommended Posts

JFK's and his brother Bobby's assassinations changed the course of American history in the 1960s. Perhaps for Brits it is the death, perhaps assassination, of Princess Diana that shocked the most?

I'd say based on the OP, Saddam Hussein. Nasty end, dictator essential to keeping the peace in a violent state, his death I'd say resulted in the resurgence of religious terrorism - a martyr created by the West - and of course that has changed the world as we know it.

, apparently Vic Morrow died a hero, saving two children from certain death. Correct?

Sort of, his character was trying to save the kids from being blown up by a helicopter. One of the pyrotechnics hit the helicopter causing it to fall on vic and the two kids while they were in the water. Vic Morrow died before he could react.

I will break the habit and respond to you.

Ive actually seen the footage, its out there.

He does, indeed, die a hero, when it all starts going wrong he picks up the child and tries to run through the water with them.

Unfortunately, the helicopters blade hits them as it falls into the water.

Just to reiterate, Jon Landis killed beloved character actor Vic Morrow and two Asian children.

Speilberg's never worked (or spoken to?) with Landis since, iirc.
