"We were brought up to know how to be poor" my ass... Woman grew up as the daughter of a de-facto dictator. No right to say that or claim modesty.

The same brother made the announcement is under investigation by the government (likely by order of the other brother, he third LKY child, and now-former Singapore PM) for some kind of dispute with their father's will. It seems like Lee and her non-PM brother weren't too well liked by the government in the past few years...
