Olivia Grange, longtime Jamaican politician and current sports minister has been hospitalised for a week now with respiratory problems, apparently in ICU. Not the first time.

Olivia Grange discharged after nearly a month and to return to her duties soon.

Faustao hospitalised again , but of course only routine check-ups.

Faustao "doing well" but the transplant kidneys are failing and he might need a second/third kidney transplant.

Here's a "recap" who there has been in addition to Krasko since December:

1. Bedros Kirkorov (1932) History of heart problems, a-fib, in ICU with congestive heart failure in April 2022, hospitalised with massive heart problems and in ICU in November 2022 and underwent emergency heart surgery and pacemaker implantation, again in ICU with pneumothorax and pneumonia combination in December 2022 that he was not expected to survive, hospitalised in January with pneumonia and complications of angina pectoris, heart failure and CAD. Again in hospital in July.

Bedros Kirkorov has been urgently hospitalised again and is either critical on life support/ICU or cheerful, happy and to be discharged soon.

Lenta is more reliable, and that means Bedros is on the mend once again, the last of a long series of miracles.

I was very disappointed to see the Indians thread and this thread were both posted, but nothing actually happened. For a second I thought one of the eternal cunts like Advani or SM Krishna had finally gone. Keep dreamin'.

Maria do Carmo Alves suffering from stage 4 pancreatic cancer, sepsis, heart and kidney failure :pop:

Not even Jimmy the Great would come back from that.

Jorge Lanata much much better.

Jorge Lanata developed a fever and could not be transferred to rehab as planned.

Maybe nothing once again, but an infection could finish him off.

Eddie Miró, Puerto Rican television show host and "Dick Clark of Spanish TV" hospitalised after fall.

Colon cancer survivor, emergency hospitalisation back in 2015 and has Bethlem myopathy, whatever that is. He is "stable" but family is requesting blood and plasma donations, which makes it sound a bit more serious.

Eddie Miró stable and improving, but he was also "stable" a couple of days ago when in reality he was intubated on ventilator.

Major Mexican politician Olga Sánchez Cordero hospitalised with heart problems and has recently undergone open heart surgery

Lanata and Faustao are medical miracles at this point. Lanata had a kidney transplant back in 2015 after kidney failure, seemingly has suffered from heart failure the last year or more (that has lead to his transplant kidney or kidneys failing).

Faustao on the other hand had heart and kidney failure during the last year or two, followed first by a heart and then a kidney transplant and now his transplant kidneys are apparently failing and he might need another kidney transplant.

Both remind me a bit of Jayapataka, but Jaya has had a suprisingly small amount of heart problems considering he has suffered from kidney, liver and intestinal failure, gastric varices, strokes, cancer etc. I think that might be what's kept him alive for this long.

Jorge Lanata improving again, somehow.

South African former Finance, Public Enterprises Minister and anti-apartheid activist Pravin Gordhan hospitalised. He was in ill health a couple of times last year and retired from politics a couple of months ago due to failing health.

A brief recap of hospitalised folks ( @arghton tell me if I miss someone):

1)Nritya Gopal Das (1938): certified immortal, failing health for the last 4 years, in ICU with UTI and other ailments; now stable and expected to make a full recovery. DISCHARGED.

2)Harvey Weinstein (1952): alleged failing health for the last few years, recently in ICU with double pneumonia, underwent emergency heart surgery and was reportedly critical; now out of danger and the whole situation was likely exaggerated.

3)Totò Schillaci (1964): suffering from metastatic colon cancer since early 2022, hospitalised in seemingly desperate condition; now reportedly improving as he was actually hospitalised for minor arrhythmia.

4)Pravin Gordhan (1949): SA politician, failing health for the last two years, hospitalised and wording is ominous, but it was ominous for most of the cases on this list.

5)Joe Wilson (1947): suffered minor stroke; stable and not in danger.

6)Mustafa Monwar (1935): hospitalised in ICU with advanced prostate cancer and other thousands of deadly diseases; now improving....

7)Sitaram Yechury (1952): originally hospitalised for "routine check-up", has been critical and on life support for a while; seems to be resisting well.DEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDD

8)Gary Shaw (1961): Aston villa footballer, in coma after fall; hopefully able to recover.

9)Rupert Keegan (1955): racing driver, hospice care with terminal cancer.

10)Eddie Miró (1935): Puerto Rico presenter, recently on life support; splendidly recovering apparently.

11)José Mujica (1935): president of Uruguay, esophageal cancer, CKD, vasculitis; on the mend and cancer free.

12)Hari Babu Kambhampati (1953): Mizoram governor, lung infection, but stable and recovering.

Sam Nujoma, Jorge Lanata, Yuriko Mikasa all still in hospital.

Seems that LK Advani has already been discharged:

Jorge Lanata's improving more and seems he might somehow make it. They want to discharge him to a rehab center with 24/7 monitoring and ventilator support at night through tracheotomy. His worst problem currently is multifactorial encephalopathy.

Sitaram Yechury "critical but stable" which atleast previously has been Indian for "he's fucked, but hanging on"
