Fractured cheekbone. Bad, but not as bad as it could be! Apparently otherwise fine.

Latest social media posts seem to imply Jayapataka has been discharged, and here's an image that is apparently from today:

Doesn't look much different than before, but I'm pretty sure the ascites and pulmonary edema will be back (again) in a few weeks.

Jayapataka had a significant drop in his blood pressure on Sunday and needed emergency medications. He is "somewhat stable, conscious and alert", but will be taken to hospital today as the medical team do not know what is causing this.

I love wasting time, so here's a short, incomplete health history from his past health updates.

Spoiler

1989 - Jayapataka is attacked in Madrid with a knife, the attacker attempts to slash his throat and he suffers a major vein injury. From a blood transfusion, he gets Hepatitis C.

ca. 1995: Diagnosed with diabetes

23 Oct 2008: Jayapataka suffers a massive stroke, found unconscious in bed at 3:30am and has fell into coma. Results of a scan indicate he has suffered a brain stem stroke and also has bleeding on two other locations on his brain. He suffers a cardiac arrest, resuscitated and his condition is said to be "extremely critical" on ventilator.

25 Oct 2008: Jayapataka is conscious but not out of danger, his blood platelets are going down but his blood pressure and sugar level are under control.

26 Oct 2008: Jayapataka is diagnosed with chronic liver disease, is improving and comes out of coma.

27 Oct 2008: Jayapataka's blood pressure fluctuates, his platelets decrease further and blood sugar is unstable.

29 Oct 2008: His ventilator is removed, but placed again two hours later.
