I like ELO and, because ive played them in the car over the years, my soon to be 18yr old daughter likes them...and she is very cool. maryportfuncity 10,682 Posted October 16, 2010 I LOVE Bolan, great posts above. Just read Tony Visconti's autobiography, from which Bolan emerges as a man who morphed into a monster. The Slider - which spawned Mystic Lady - always sounded to me like star/band/producer at the top of their form, focussed, effective and passionate. Visconti's take on that is that it was a miserable album to make. Tanx, in all its sloppy glory, being a happier event all round. Still sounds great, mind. So good that I swear Butch Vig and Nirvana stole most of the sound for Nevermind. Oh yeah, this is the video link thread.
