maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted May 17, 2012 How many DLers also Skype regularly? I mean, we could join that committee, right?
Paul Bearer 6,101 Posted May 17, 2012 Shock, horror, calamity. Our beloved teams future could be in doubt.
maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted May 17, 2012 Aye, worrying times. Dunno if our loyalty would stretch to the North Caledonian League, where they'd be something of a catch. In the face of their departing the Highland League what would we do, start following East Stirlingshire?
Paul Bearer 6,101 Posted May 19, 2012 People are leaving comments now. I wonder if we should send them a message of support from all at DL?
Paul Bearer 6,101 Posted May 30, 2012 New chairman elected. Now looking for a sponsor. Dare we?
Rotten Ali 600 Posted May 31, 2012 It would cost money! First find out how much they need. Second, baulk at the stated quantity... Most likely about £25,000 or so...
maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted June 5, 2012 We could - like - sponsor something really cheap; like their goalie, or a match ball. I'll chip in a tenner!
Rotten Ali 600 Posted June 5, 2012 Maybe another way to do the sponsorship route would be to first talk with a few of the top sportswear companies to have a better kit made and then go for inclusion in the range sold by the Subside mail order catalogue. Just having DeathList on the front would be novel in itself, let alone fair publicity.

maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted June 9, 2012 In finding out the cost will they find out who we are? You've got to wonder whether they'll welcome us with open arms. Then again, it'd doubtless be a bonanza for the letters page of their local paper!
