Inspired choices for the most part but I reckon Clint will be around for some time to come, he's always been very health conscious has no illnesses that I'm aware of and shows no signs of slowing down

Former Smashing Pumpkins bassist D'arcy Wretzky looking rough...

Jailed for both drunk driving and letting her horses run loose on her town.

She looks more like a Smashed Pumpkin there :)

Sticking with Hollywood stars, Rip Torn would be a worthy addition, a notorious hell-raiser, hung out with the likes of Nicholson and Dennis Hopper, soon to turn 80, was in the news last year for pulling a gun on his neighbour or something along those lines

Allow me to correct myself, he TURNED 80 on 6th February, and was arrested trying to break into a bank near his home, apparently believing it to be his home, cops found he was packing and he was charged with possessing a firearm without a permit and while intoxicated. That's better.

Never a dull moment around old Rip :)

Amongst all the celebrations at the BAFTA awards tonight a quiet presence in the room is likely to be BAFTA's oldest member, Douglas Slocombe. 98 years old and packing a CV that means proper obits, newspaper snippets and probably BBC coverage.

talking of oldest people can I bring to your attention Lord Edward Short..oldest ex cabinet minister who was responsible for shutting down pirate radio in the 60s.He's 98, making him the oldest member of the House of lords and 2nd oldest former MP (ex tory MP James Allason is just 3 months older) .His wife died 2 years ago so surely he can't last much longer now!

Sir Christopher Lee's appearance to accept the Bafta fellowship tonight must surely be enough to get him on next year's list if he makes it to 2012. Unless he was acting, of course.

Raymond Davies is definitely worth watching, Highly unlikely to be executed once they 'review' the situation next month. But white Americans shooting Pakistanis in Pakistan provide the kind of ranter fuel that gives hate clerics their fearsome reputations. If - as expected - Davies goes home and serves a short sentence, he'll doubtless want to walk the streets...the same streets walked by the occasional, enraged, Halibuts.
