Time - Pink Floyd
Crocodile Rock - Sir Elton John
Waterfalls - TLC
Evergreen - Barbara Streisand (outside the scope perhaps?)
Fire - (Ohio Players, Arthur Brown, Pointer Sisters pick one)
Reflections - The Supremes

Well I gave it 10 minutes.  hope that helps your march toward 60

Edit - had to strike the Chicago tune, I am wrong.  However could be a title somewhere using the times on those clocks.

Time After Time - Cyndi Lauper

Interesting they didn't have the 'Devil in the Blue Dress'.  So must be red for a reason.  that seems an easy miss.  Do we have a title indicating the red dress?

I'm most certain the songs are supposed to be uber popular.  The following seem like a stretch:

This House is on Fire - AC/DC

Hit Rock Bottom - The Dandy Warholls

Purple Hills - D-12

Wings - Birdy

Steetcar - Funeral for a Friend

Yellow Walls - Jackson C. Frank

Empty Spaces - Pink Floyd

(Edit -- well, after seeing master list at least I was right about none of these being included lol)

Takes us to 60 in fact.

Quoted wrong post above as for the unpopular songs. The artist said there's no right or wrong answers and some are obscure:

Quote

After the playlist that accompanied my Music Map went down well, I thought I'd create some artwork for a playlist rather than the other way round. So take a look at the picture below and count how many song titles spring to mind - there are at least 60 possibilities, and I know you're going to find some that I didn't even have in mind when drawing it. Just say what you see!

There are no right or wrong answers. The illustrated songs range from obvious to obscure, and some parts of the picture can represent more than one song title.

There's a playlist with the 60 he deliberately put in there. I'm yet to look at it though.

Signs ?? - Five Man Electrical Band (the big banner asking how many songs do we see).  Maybe a stretch.

Really surprised one of those clocks isn't Two Minutes to Midnight.

Fool on the Hill (another stretch, the question mark sits on the hill)

Heaven - Psychedelic Furs
Green Shirt - Elvis Costello
Lady in Red  (this covers the purposeful red dress) - Chris de Burgh

OK so....the guy is straight from the 1970-2000 era.  Not much outside of that.
A couple obscure ones we don't have, and a number of titles not by the popular artist but we got the right song.  I think we have all but maybe 4.
Somewhat annoying is that only one black artist (MJackson) is represented in his list of 60.  I mean wth?  You couldn't rattle off 60 songs at random and not name more than 1 by a black artist.  But this guy did.

I'm counting having the right song as a hit. Just updated the list. Can you do us a favour and tell us if we hit all 60? Kind of want to know which of ours aren't on there but don't want to look until we've got them all.

Reckon there's probably well over a hundred in there though if you look hard enough.

Also has anyone got any idea what that red thing is at the top? I want to say sheer heart attack but think that's stretching it beyond bending an elastic band. Another option is Up & Down by the Vengaboys - sod it I'm adding them both to the list.

Just added ten or so more to the list, from what SC is saying not many will actually be on there but takes us up to a combined total of 100 songs now.

Absolutely.  Now I have homework!  I also gave enough clues, no more.

Too bad the cage isn't rusty, or I could say Rusty Cage by Soundgarden

Also, does Here Comes The Sun by The Beatles work? I think it could.

Anyways, there's of course some songs with same titles as ones that have already been mentioned and aren't covers. Here's a few

Fire - The Cult

Albatross - Big Wreck
Albatross - Corrosion of Conformity

and i can't tell if there's a crow or not, but there's a song called The Crowing by Coheed and Cambria which might work?

EDIT: one more thing? what is that green lifehouse/lighthouse to the right of the stairs? It's probably not even a lighthouse so my apologies lol..

I think Here Comes the Sun works. The green lighthouse thing is a Helter Skelter- basically a tower with a slide on it found at travelling fairs and outdoor events -  as featured in the song by The Beatles. Although you could probably class it as a lighthouse as well given shape.

Anyone gone for The Road to Hell by Chris Rea yet?

Other options - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (Elton John), Time is Running Out (Muse), Country House (Blur), the godawful Girl Put Your Records on (Corrine Bailey Rae?),  Message in a Bottle (Police, check the waterfall), Genie in a Bottle, Coffee and TV (Blur).

Already had Road to Hell but the rest are new ones. Along with a couple of new additions by myself brings us to 130. Surely we can't be far off now. And was there any need to remind anyone that Put Your Records On by Corrine Bailey Rae exists. Stuck in my head now. Speaking of stuck - is the policeman thinking "oh shit, I'm Stuck in the Middle With You"

Meh, I mean some are rather obvious, but then, unless you have the list as intended you will never know if you're right. Each symbol could refer to tons of songs.

See the discussion above. There's a list on the website where the artist posted it of the 60 intended songs. Mr. Impatient a.k.a Sir Creep has read the list and agreed to let us know when ours has all of those 60. And of course a few are obvious, given we're well in excess of a 100 songs between half a dozen contributors and still haven't hit it, I'm inclined to think some of them are not very obvious..

Some of them definitely refer to more than 1 song though, that's made clear there as well.

OK well the RED ones are hits.
So we did worse than I thought.   Did anyone delete a few, cuz I swear there were at least 2 or 3 that were there and seem to be gone.  So I guess that is my clue -- there are some PAINFULLY obvious ones that maybe we are all assuming someone else said, but no one bothered to.  Obvious in the Blue Suede Shoes kinda obvious.  So check your song title even if you think it's been taken, a few haven't.  I would say there are a good 4 or 5 you aren't going to get, pretty obscure (Spin the Black Circle obscure -- whoever got that, bravo!).  Also, he has a couple titles about the same object, so you think you're all done with the object cuz you have a HIT, when in fact there is another song related to it (that's kinda BS imho).  So looks like you have 46 of the 61 in his playlist.  Amazing we came up with at least that many titles that weren't part of it!
SC
(*HINT*  Artist must be a creature of the 1970's and a Beatles lover, cuz that's 2/3 of what's missing)

There's about a dozen on that list I'm boggled are not part of his 60 but The Lovecats by The Cure takes the biscuit. You have two cats with a heart in the middle and don't think Lovecats? What the fuck?
