Things To Do While Waiting For Death

There's about a dozen on that list I'm boggled are not part of his 60 but The Lovecats by The Cure takes the biscuit. You have two cats with a heart in the middle and don't think Lovecats? What the fuck?

There are probably a dozen we came up with that were dead certs.  OTOH Sir Creep isn't infallible (he says otherwise, don't listen to him).  So he continues to triple check the list of hits and misses and the master list.  He is under strict orders to review Love Cats at this very moment.

Unfortunately I've exhausted my musical expertise but if we need Beatles songs it might time to enlist the resident expert @maryportfuncity

Most of the songs were quite popular, big hits in fact in some cases.  Like I said I 'assumed' they were spoken for but when I went to our list they weren't there.
Well ok let's do this: 3 songs have to do with that road.  2 have to do with the hill(s).  3 have to do with the sky or objects in it.   We will start there.
Recount: 47 of 61. (My list has 14 to go) -- THE Lovecats is a hit .... I was scanning for the letter L lol.  Like someone ever went to the DJ booth 'can you play THE Lovecats'?  As if.

Once I remembered it existed,  I was sharing that pain.

Another one that it pains you to remember exist - Violet Hill by Coldplay. As well as a few beatles songs (Twist and Shout, I Want to Hold Your Hand, The Long and Winding Road) and a couple of long shots (Joker and the Thief by Wolfmother and One for the Road by Arctic Monkeys)

** it's a HIT ** and an amazing pick at that.  I think that is the two 'hill' songs taken care of.
You're oh so close....
12 to go.

Why Don'y We Do It in the Road?

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (this really is a stretch, the only thing in the sky is diamonds and I can only see a bloke in the sky on the moon?) Unless a couple of those diamonds are supposed to be crystals of "Lucy"

Also is it possible the moon could be functioning as a planet as well, perhaps Mars? oversized to be a moon? Maybe Planetery Go by My Chemical Romance, Man on Mars by Kaiser Chiefs or Is There Life on Mars by David Bowie (again these are all stretches).

Not a stretch to me, it was one of the obvious ones (i mean diamonds in the sky).  I assumed it was mentioned.
Anyway -- TWO HITS 10 to go.   Including all 3 songs about the road still

Okay here's a few desperation stakes ones. Those plastic trees don't look much like christmas trees, but that moon can't make it's mind up whether it's the moon or mars so

Rockin Around the Christmas Tree

A few we have similar names for

We've got Waterfalls by TLC but what about Waterfall by The Stone Roses?

Already a hit. (ctrrl + f ing the song in that list is probably going to be a lot more efficient than scanning down for it, there's already a few duplicates on there I just noticed Above the Clouds is in twice).

Get your rocks off or Rocks by Primal Scream

Rockin in the Free World - Neil Young

I Have a Problem - Beartooth (somebody does with all those empty bottles)

Another Empty Bottle - Katy McAllister

I think Here Comes the Sun works. The green lighthouse thing is a Helter Skelter- basically a tower with a slide on it found at travelling fairs and outdoor events -  as featured in the song by The Beatles. Although you could probably class it as a lighthouse as well given shape.

well I missed this post....the last Beatles HIT.
LOL I seem to be missing two hits.  aarrghh.  Well I have 7 on my list to go alls I know.
