Fled the Nazis for Northern Rhodesia in 1939, then became the European controller for the BBC. Fascinating life – would make a great obit once the broadsheets pick up on his demise. Thatcher 2,699 Posted Wednesday at 20:46 On 24/01/2023 at 14:24, Perhaps said: American sports journalist Steve DiMeglio, who writes for USA Today mainly about golf, has stage 4 cancer. Most likely not QO worthy but still worth a consideration for pools with lower obit requirements. Steve DiMeglio has died aged 63. A DDP pick, but the article says either Tuesday or Wednesday for day of death.

Everyone seems to say 'today' meaning...today, 1 Jan. I checked this dude's FB friends list and anyone named Dimeglio (there were like 10 people). None of them have updated their pages in weeks other than one Christmas post by one of them. SMH. SC

His brother announced through his Twitter page that he passed away on Wednesday, so a 2025 death. EDIT Now that I think of it I should've posted this in the DDP25 thread, sorry!
