There has been some serious internet drama surrounding the "Liza Minnelli Outlives" Twitter account. I first heard of this when I saw a tweet falsely announcing his death. Somehow him being a Zionist with bad music taste led to this.

Look, I'm not in alignment with Scott, but isn't this a false assumption? If you hated deadpooling, you could argue all picks are "predicated on the idea that they should not be alive". Nothing on the Minnelli account suggests he wants her dead, rather that he wants her to keep outliving people.

The only reason I know who she is, is she was the one who missed out on being in that famous selfie from the 2014 Oscars because she's too short (and slow and/or not popular enough to get to the front).

The gimmick is just that Minnelli outlives X (and the X usually isn't even a person, the guy-who is Minnelli's former publicist-writes about all sorts of things happening in the world but some of the things he writes about are biased time to time tbh-this whole "drama" happened because of this tweet (pic below; moreover, he also started hiding some of the replies that he didn't like )). 

 

I understand why Minnelli wasn't a fan of the account back in 2021, and I understand why she wouldn't be a fan nowadays, since the guy is probably making money out of the tweets he posts in "her name".
