Report might make me give it a small side eye, but hey it is winter time and cold and flu season. Many of us including the elderly will get something this time of year without it being too serious. Now if later we hear he is hospitalized, then it makes for a different story and more concerning.
Ulitzer95 12,690 Posted February 24 Should probably be noted that the reports say it's a mild case of flu... for now anyway.
drol 12,014 Posted February 24 No one implied in any way it's serious.
drol 12,014 Posted February 28 Hospitalised for "routine check-up". Just this morning he was at the audience and said he had "a bit of cold". Does not sound like the hospitalization was actually expected.

We are just going to assume and report that it must be something serious without any facts. The man has a cold they probably were just making sure he did not have signs of pneumonia. Just doing their job to make sure they are doing everything and checking it all out so they don't miss anything and making sure he gets all he needs to get over the illness, especially if his lung is weak to begin with. By the way though thank you Drol for the report, it just seems reporters trying to make a mountain out of what could be a mole hill
drol 12,014 Posted February 28 Not that I like to exaggerate news, but the Telegraph is not Radar Online. This man has steadily declined for the last few years. He has colon issues, incredibly frequent respiratory issues and some years ago a respectable Italian newspaper reported he had cancer. It may not be this time, but the outcome is not looking good for him. 1

I just wish reporters would just report on facts without putting in some drama that is them just giving the public their own assumptions which causes false information and rumors

Sod's Law 452 Posted March 2 I would like to reiterate what I said about how this man should seriously consider carrying an oxygen tank and respirator wherever he goes, and avoid any hand to hand contact.
