Just curious, why is it called The Hare's Death Pool?

Because the story of the tortoise and the hare was in my head although I suppose your aiming to be the tortoise among all the hares (that was a lame attempt at covering the fact logically this should be The Tortoises Death Pool).

Maryport always opens the Deathrace thread with several temporary posts, and goes back to fill them up with the masterlist, lists of teams etc. so they're always on page one. Good system.

Yeah, I don't like having the leaderboard way back at the start of thread, I must admit. That's my only niggle with Deathrace, a fine competition run by an excellent runner.

 

Why have a post saying you are updating the leaderboard? It's an extra click. Here's a post, it's the leaderboard, have a look is my preferred option.

So it's all started off rather quicker than I thought. I was hoping to sit back until at least March, but I must have been mad to think that! (March Hare, geddit?)
