There's really little hard news about with the sad exception of the middle east. As a former director of Public Prosecutions he would understand that speculation is not the same as evidence. This information has come out via the investigating police force. It does not vindicate the actions of the 'protesters' who were still acting on incorrect information - he was not an asylum seeker.
