Political Frailty

Coup underway in Burkina Faso, the president, the prime minister and the whole cabinet are being "held hostage" right now. Not sure how this will end but Africa has a bad reputation for such events..

Yes this is true. However the only report I have found is sketchy in detail but not particularly hysterical

There are a bunch of articles about Helmut Kohl but they're all in German. I think it says that he's getting better but would someone look and tell us what's going on (I flunked German).

He's recovering, can't attend his mates memorial service due to illness (Gleamed from google translate, pinch of salt advised)

I know time is running out for me getting a unique and unnatural-death hit with Alexis Tsipras, but I applaud him for really doing everything to provoke it. I feared he was gone after announcing the snap elections, but there he's back again...

I would like to thank Denise Marshall for dying on 24 August, and as a result, as she was my joker, I was voted Player of the Month - August

It is a rare and much appreciated honour. I have sent her a message on her twitter which appears to be still active.

Longest-serving U.S. congress member in history John Dingell hospitalized for heart procedure:

http://www.businessinsider.com/ap-former-us-rep.-john-dingell-hospitalized-for-heart-procedure-2015-10?IR=T

Just yesterday, I checked his twitter feed and he seemed safe for this year. Still, most likely he's just another one of my growing list of death teases in my DDP team that also includes The King of Thailand, Helmut Kohl and Valerie Harper. I guess there are quite a couple of parallel universes where my team has decent 7-8 hits.

Whoa! That's big news (as you see he's on my one main list), many of my DP participants are from Michigan where Dingell served, and needless to say they'll be excited errrrrr sad to hear this.

I looked into it some more and was a bit surprised to see how quickly he has declined physically, for example, here: http://michiganjournal.org/2015/09/22/photos-former-us-congressman-john-dingell-visits-um-dearborn-for-student-governments-constitution-day/

Still, I think I probably chose him one year too soon, but I am not convinced of it anymore.
