fighting for his l ife after massive heart attack according to twitter .Hope he pulls through. He's one of the few MPs who actually cares about the poor

Hmm, so he's not back to campaign and he's sitting in fairly safe Labour territory, there'll be a scramble for that opportunity.

I am sure his compassionate colleagues would not even begin to entertain such thoughts. Though perhaps they might need a new black tie for an event, any event, nothing in mind you know.....

MLA for Dartmouth South (NS), Allen Rowe, is home recovering from 'a procudure'. Everyone is mum. Which makes this terribly interesting.

SC

"During this time, the release said Rowe and his family are asking for privacy. Mr. Rowe is expected to return to his duties when his health allows, the release said."

Can you dance on the head of a in more than that?

What is a procudure - sounds painful....?!
Apparently it was so painful it killed him. I'm going to break my arm patting myself on the back on this one, my "something is amiss here" antenna were dead on, so to speak.

The police are investigating my false announcement of Lee Kuan yews death. Oh shit... http://www.wsj.com/articles/singapore-police-probe-false-announcement-of-lee-kuan-yews-death-1426734625?mod=asia_home

Oh well, I think you should prepare yourself for six of the best... Or 20, since Singaporean courts are quite liberal in applying harsh punishments for lesser offences.

Ah, the cane. Quite fashionable in some circles.

Wasn't some US juvenile delinquent flogged in Singapore a decade or so ago? I googled it, and my, how time flies: Michael P. Fay got four in 1994.

Probably going to happen with UK PMs too. Major, Blair, Brown and Cameron aren't going anywhere in the next decade or two.

Gordon Brown will go first from a massive stroke. You can tell he's a stressed out guy,and he's never come to terms with being kicked out of office after just 3 years...

Unless by some miracle there's a member of the 1935 parliament still kicking around then the following is a list of all members of parliament and former members of parliament aged 70 or over, plenty of low hanging fruit to be found...

[snip]

Jerry Wiggin, 77 (24 Feb 1937), Conservative (West-super-Mare 1969-97)

Odd this one (seems to have) escaped scrutiny.

Former Illinois congressman, Keith Farnham (67), already with but months to live from terminal illness, now sent to prison where child molesters and pornographers are not treated kindly. Double whammy. He probably wouldn't have obitted but now his story seems quite celeb. Hell, THIS headline from the Daily Mail, rest assured his obit will be.
