In response Linda typed: "Every New Year, I’m always on the “predicted celebrity death” list. Guess what?? I’M STILL HERE!!"
Her fans quickly rallied round her as they scolded the user for being "horrible" and shared how "death can happen to anyone".
One typed: "Life isn’t promised to anyone, even the horrible people who say things like that. Here’s to many more years for you yet, Linda and I hope you have a wonderful new year xxxx."
While a second replied: "You’re still rocking it too, Linda. Wishing you good health and many more happy years to come xx."
A third typed: "Oh Linda is sending you love and hugs. Happy New Year, and keep proving 'em wrong, lass. xx."
Linda revealed her hopes for this year, which are simply profound: "To not die, obviously. More than anything, I want to be surrounded by my family. My ultimate goal is for us all to be together this time next year."

I will be dropping her from everyone of my teams next year to not give her the attention she and her family craves. Might be a horrible thing to say in the circumstances with Linda having cancer as I don't wish it on anybody but the Nolans really nark me.

I find it a common misconception about death poolers that we're in a constant state of willing people (especially our picks) to die. I don't wish anyone dead. Sure, there are a few monsters that the world would be a better place without, but I'm here to predict death, not hope for it. If someone on the list survives the year, good for them.

If anyone thought I was wishing Linda Nolan ill fortune let me be crystal clear I wasn't. I would and could never wish anyone dead although as Summer pointed out above there are those where you think the world would be a better place without.
