Reagan Youth guitarist Paul Bakija (aka Paul Cripple) has passed away after a long battle with cancer. This leaves Charlie (Tripper) Bonet as the only living original member of the band.

Peter Murphy is industrial A-List because he's the frontman of Bauhaus.

 

The Celebrating David Bowie UK and EU tour, which was due to take place in January, has been called off because Peter Murphy has "suddenly taken ill".

He survived a heart attack in 2019. Might be worth keeping tabs on, sadly.

Slim was guitarist of the Replacements from 1987 to 1991, replacing Bob Stinson (who passed in 1995). He is 71.

Kirk Johnson, lead vocalist for Minneapolis garage punk band Run Westy Run has been missing since January 6th. I sincerely hope he is found alive. What with Slim Dunlap passing away last month and then Beej Chaney dying last week, this already has been a rough couple of months.

Alastair Mackinven, musician and visual artist, has died at the age of 53, following a long illness. In recent years Mackinven was best known for his visual art, but since the mid-90s he was a guitarist in art-punk bands Country Teasers and The Male Nurse.

He has been found safe and sound and is currently staying with family.
