Helen Lederer is a mere 69 in real life, Bill Roache is 92 in a month's time. I'm assuming explicit sex scenes have already been ruled out.

 

I'm wondering if the Corrie producers have an exit plan for when he finally can't cut it due to death or ill health, specifically I'm wondering if they'll resolve the skilfully teased possibility that it was a young Ken Barlow who shouted "Judas!" at Bob Dylan when he brought his electric band to Manchester Free Trade Hall 60 years back, like maybe some character at Ken's funeral states openly that "people then knew for sure it was him!"

So I don't watch the show now because it sux so not up to date with it but liked the 2020 10,000 episode where they go to scatter Dennis ashes. So with Kens son gone and his grandson going too, who does he have for family? Note I don't count tracy (not biologically his and her mothers dead anyway)

 

Though the possibility of peter and simon returning hasn't been outruled so kens death would be a good enough reason for that but not always a guarantee

His grandsons, Adam and Bertie, from his eldest, now deceased daughter, Susan, and his son, Daniel, respectively, the latter of whom is also still a present character.

Ohh yes i remembered  watching Daniel when his wife passed away he needed cheering up by an escort I really felt his pain as we all could. Well acted

To bring this chat back on topic a bit, watching those scenes on Wednesday's episode of Corrie proved to me that he is in no way ready for the list, he's still a proud confident performer who can take charge in a scene. It's Barbara Knox who I think we should all be keeping an eye on.
