Guest billyc1963 Posted September 15, 2005 I just came upon a "MUNSTERS" web site where you can have AL LEWIS autograph pictures and some other stuff he is still doing! He is very much alive and kicking at age 95!! As for him not being famous enough, he had parts in over 100 movies and shows.

The Munsters, Lost in Space, Gomer Pyle, Taxi, Green acres, RT. 66, Here`s Lucy,A couple of Munster feature films, Night Terror, Fast Money, Biography, The Howard Stern Show,he was in a PORNO about Ron Jeremy. They shoot Horses don`t they?, Right now at the age of 95 is doing another PORNO movie that is still in production. I think he may be getting alittle senile!! There are many more films he was in back in the day. Not famous enough??? Who say`s so?
MyBrainHurts2 4 Posted September 17, 2005 In a porno? I guess there's a market for everything. Will he be in his grandpa Munster costume? I'd pay to see that. Wasn't he in one of the Gremlins films also?

Al Lewis’s dob is listed as April 30th, 1910 on both imdb and Wikipedia. ...Wasn't he in one of the Gremlins films also? No he was not in any of the Gremlins movies. Below is a link to a full list of movies that Al Lewis acted in, courtesy of imdb.
maryportfuncity 10,630 Posted October 2, 2005 All of this begs the question if you asked Al Lewis his date of birth would he still know for sure these days?
Banshees Scream 110 Posted October 2, 2005 All of this begs the question if you asked Al Lewis his date of birth would he still know for sure these days? I'm sure he would. From what i know he doesn't have alzheimers or any mind threatening disease. I put him in the same catagory as possible deathlist canidate Don Knotts. I always thought Knotts looked a good 10-15 years older in Threes Company then the age he actually was.

Charley Farley 1 Posted October 30, 2005 ran for mayor somewhere recently and lost a leg to gangrene, what a guy!
maryportfuncity 10,630 Posted October 30, 2005 I think the leg was already gone before he started on the campaign trail. Can you 'run' for mayor with one leg?
football_fan 42 Posted October 31, 2005 ran for mayor somewhere recently and lost a leg to gangrene, what a guy! I think the leg was already gone before he started on the campaign trail. Can you 'run' for mayor with one leg? He actually did not run for mayor, but ran as a Green Party candidate for New York governor in 1998.
maryportfuncity 10,630 Posted November 1, 2005 I couldn't find anything on the web about HIM running for mayor. I did find something about him as running mate for Alice Green of the Green Party. BEGGING THE QUESTION, did he join this party before or after his leg turned green and got lopped off?
Banshees Scream 110 Posted November 2, 2005 Can you 'run' for mayor with one leg?He actually did not run for mayor, but ran as a Green Party candidate for New York governor in 1998. That would lead you to think that his real age was about 80 or he was in remarkable health a couple years ago at 87 years old.
