Wiki lists 22 Rollers - 18 of them still alive if we count Mitchell amongst the fallen.

Though likely only about six or seven of the survivors obitable and one of them - Davy Paton - mainly on the back of his membership of Pilot and work with the likes of Alan Parsons and Kate Bush

Possibly. I guess it depends on circumstances. Archie Marr was an early member and only played on their first single, yet he got an obit because he died in a house fire.

KC & The Sunshine Band.

Jeanette Williams appears to be the recently deceased Betty Wright's sister. There's some family information on Wright's Wiki page which I have linked to, so probably born Jeanette Norris in Miami, FL. Seems to be now married to someone called Black and named latterly Jeanette Wright-Black. The KC connection all ties in with Betty Wright's involvement with the TK Studios in Miami and the tributes from KC on Betty's death.

Ken Faulk - he's bloody everywhere, on records by the Bee Gees, Dionne Warwick, Dr John, blah blah blah. Can't find any origin information, though I'm guessing out of Miami, rateyourmusic has him as Kenneth William Faulk. Anyway, according to this article from last year, he was still alive and playing the Portland Jazz Festival: https://jazztimes.com/archives/portland-jazz-festival-a-celebration-of-ecm-36/

Margaret Reynolds - seems to have released some records under her own name with the assistance of KC in the early 80s - still looking but it's not looking great for bio information.

Churlish I'll take!

Anyway, found this for Kandidate's Jascha Tambimuttu which indicates a real name: https://secondhandsongs.com/artist/142136

So from there we get here: https://xeroerror.wordpress.com/2009/02/02/audio-recording-at-tambi-studios/ but the website is down for the Studios, but let's assume he's now based in Dubai via here: https://tambistudios.wordpress.com/author/tambistudios/ Gawd alone knows where he's from originally.

Edit: Strike that, looks like Tambi Studios have shut up shop when I go to Google!

Cheers.

Found Ken Faulk's DOB on Clustrmaps. He is indeed still alive. He'll be 80 next year. Looks like he stopped recording in the 80s but still performs.

Jeanette Norris/Williams/Black/Wright is a nightmare. Can't find any records. I think the real spelling of her first name is Jeannette, as spelt in the obits of her sister Betty. There's a yearbook photo on Ancestry of an African American woman that looks like her, born 1949. Could be her but not strong enough for now.

Margaret Reynolds – she sued the band in 2004 along with one of the other backing singers. Has since become an evangelical minister but her FB page has been inactive since 2015. Dead or got bored of God?

Sri Lanka according to Ancestry (found his flight records to and from the UK).

Also found his 1984 Brent marriage certificate (wife is a Iris Folwell). No DOB though. Seems to have some degree of a profile so I imagine we'll hear about his death when he does go.

Well Iris was co-writer with him on Heartache by Pepsie & Shirlie: https://secondhandsongs.com/artist/142137

Tambi also produced Afro Lover for Joett.

Where are you Tambi? Can't be many Tambi & Iris Fernandos knocking around if they returned to the UK.

Okay. KC and the Sunshine Band...

Margaret Reynolds. Found her personal FB and here's a post from her 70th birthday last year dated 6 Jul 49. Says she is from Palmetto, Florida on there and lives in Miami.
Ancestry: Margaret Reynolds born 5th Jul 49, living in Miami, FL
Done.

Robert Johnson – I've removed the FB link that had him dying in 2000 one week apart from Jerome Smith. Most other sources say he actually died in the 80s from cancer. The new one I've linked to says 1982.
Just one more problem. Can't find his death record for a full date. So what's wrong? His DOB, his real name, when he died? Who knows. Anyway, he's dead, most likely for decades.

Cool.

In pursuing Tambi, here is a FB page FWIW: https://www.facebook.com/tambofernando

No current location - damn! Does reference the link to the Dubai entity though. I found this through the only Twitter post from 10 years ago - he may have sold the hotel in Colombo (Taj Samudra) and there's a LinkedIn Profile I can't access because I don't belong.

Thanks! Added that trivia and changed the DOB.

I used 1955 originally because both Discogs and FindAGrave (no, not dead, just “dead as a woman” ) state that year.

However, Ancestry agrees with Wiki. Born in Massachusetts in 1950 as Cynthia Bullens.

Kleeer.

Hmm. I've seen an interview here http://funknstuff.net/tir-kleeer/ recorded January 2019 on which Richard Lee participates. He says he was originally from Washington DC and was now living in Brooklyn, New York, but he's very hard to hear so I didn't persist. No real bio info other than the above, but it might give you an in to a FB page - with such a common name though....

And Paul Crutchfield was supposed to participate but his video never connected! I really can't find much on him at all.

Added Crutchfield's birth details. Found his FB where he talks about Kleeer. Says he's from and still lives in Brooklyn. There's birthday wishes on his wall every 28th Feb. Then one on 29th Feb... looked up the records on Ancestry and says he's born 29th Feb 1952. I spent about two minutes wondering why he was celebrating his birthday on 28th before remembering 29th Feb only comes round once every 4 years. D'oh!

Also got a birth date of 14th Aug for Lee from a similar page. Ancestry: Richard E. Lee Jr. 14 Aug 1953, Brooklyn.

Done.
