As long as if it’s ok that we talk a little off topic, you can ask me anything you want!
I like your interest in German TV/movie actresses, what is it all about? Do you have German origins?
You also can tell me by pm if you like.
Sophie Schütt, who will turn 40 in March, is better known as an actress in TV series than in movies. I cannot name a single movie of hers. I can’t imagine that she once had a leading role in a (cinema) movie.
But she had her own TV series called “Typisch Sophie” (“Typically Sophie”), which aired in 2004/06 and included 18 episodes. I think that it was well received by the audience.
She is mostly playing in romantic comedies with happy endings (TV series or TV films), I guess.
Going back to topic: Last July the City of Düsseldorf honored Luise Rainer with a “Stern/Star” to keep her in rememberance.
The headlines says: “Most-unfamous superstar Luise Rainer is honored with a “Stern/Star” in front of the Filmmuseum”.
If I will come along one day, I will take a picture of this nice gesture.
