The acting talent and the writing were first-rate, so much so that the episodes still hold up remarkably well today on re-watch, and we're talking about a show that first came on the air almost 40 years ago. Golden Girls is still shown on UK TV. All of the seasons are available to watch on Disney+ now though

Re-runs have been shown here in America on various channels in syndication for more than 20 years.

Yes they did, saw a few episodes late at night, missed that one when dashing off a quick list. I didn't really watch them to the extent of paying attention to them. They were just on rather than sitting in silence while I would unwind after getting home from work.
Evil Grimace 316 Posted February 4, 2023 Recently watched 'You People', which has Hal Linden in a brief cameo role in the opening scenes, with many other Jewish actors and comedians. I recognized him and was surprised to see him. The movie was released last month and two things stand out. Linden is clearly sticking to his 'what's retirement?' plan by acting in recent films. IMBD has one upcoming role listed too. However, it appears he's aged. Yes, he's 91 and yes it is a film, but he looked frail and every bit his age.
tracy 1,873 Posted February 22, 2023 Appeared on Chris Sarandon's podcast. Seems well. (Incidentally, Sarandon also looks terrific for his age.)
