Received a cake from his management team...while in hospital (possibly for his heart issues, as he reportedly had a heart failure last year).

He may be living fast, but he's definitely not fasting.

Big Pun, who was an actual legitimate rapper before hitting the 12-for-1 deals on lard cakes, made it to 698 pounds before dying, so this young pretender has some way to go.

The only man to show up at WrestleMania XV looking more dead than Gorilla Monsoon.

Wasn't sure which thread this would fit in the best,

In addition to centenarian, UNESCO director-general 1974-1987 Amadou Mahtar M'Bow there are two other elderly former UNESCO bosses:

Federico Mayor Zaragoza, born 1934, 1987-1999, M'Bow's successor.

Kōichirō Matsuura, born 1937, 1999-2009.

Federico Mayor Zaragoza, head of UNESCO 1987-1999, dead at 90.

Edit: Oops. Definitely not in this one. I was supposed to post this in "The Dead of 2024"

Will we all be captaining Anthony Doyle, owner of the "most festive house in Wicklow", following news he has months to live?

Yeah, it's between him and Hawk Tuah girl.

As promised, my theme team drops for 2025 (feel free to nab them, I mean you could have done that anyway, but you know what I mean)...

Dr Who

David Anderson

Barbara Clegg

Warris Hussein

Edward de Souza

Gabriel Woolf

Clegg and Hussein's fraility means they should be on a fair few teams next year, which freed space for some newcomers. Woolf and de Souza were on other peoples theme teams. Anderson, just no room. Was quite unwell in the past.

Here's Who You Could Have Won

Moira Armstrong

Martha Bartlett

Michael Billington

Frank Bowling

Andrew Davies

Giles Havergal

David Irving

Stacy Keach

Jim Rafferty

Nadim Sawalha

Jim Sillars

Christopher Timothy

An absolute massacre, aided by my interest in new names (and DI refusing to let me sign on extra times under a false name for some reason). Billington was a joke pick. Crem has said they want to pick Christopher Timothy so I'm standing him down to be fair. Sillars/Sawalha/Irving/Davies/Bowling all too popular these days, will be on many DDP teams in 2025. Gerry Rafferty's brother I am worried about a QO, ditto Martha Bartlett. Armstrong and Havergal there was just no room for.

I dumped the Illinois Enema Bandit Michael Kenyon for next year if anyone wants to pick him @Gooseberry Crumble perhaps?

Thank you. I have just added  him to the three tatty pieces of A4 paper that are home to my DDP long lists!

If anyone wishes to take my definite  DDP drops of nongenarian former Victoria secrets boss Les Wexner, or Ron Russell the man who helped rescued Princess Anne from Kidnappers in the 1970s  or  inventor Brad Parkinson and finally (for now!) or British hunky beefcake  muscle actor John Hamill  of my hands then please feel free!
