Sean 6,242 Posted June 25 The endurance game of Westminster returns with Shaun once again as your host carrying on the idea started and brought to life by Bibliogryphon back in 2015. Back for its fourth parliament in 9 years the game will likely take us to near the end of the decade? How big will Starmer`s majority be? Will the Tory collapse result in some of the most popular picks in the last game lose their seat.Only time will tell. The rules are the same as before except extra points for criminal behaviour that results in a criminal conviction being added however politicians rarely seem to get convicted these days! No bets allowed especially for inside trading. On to the rules: Pick 65 (1/10) of the 650 members of parliament elected on the 4th July 2024 During the next parliament you will score the following for: -Death while in seat_ 30 points _Resignation for criminal activity - 20 points which will increase to 25 if the resigning matter results in a criminal conviction -Non criminal resignations -10 points (Reduced to 5 if the candidate stands in the by election and wins) -Correctly predicted by elections that wipe out a government majority 25 (Increased to 50 if the government collapses as a result) -Unique picks :10 points Entries open from 07:00 am BST on the 5th July 2024 and entries close on 23:59 on 14th July 2024 Good luck everyone. 10

But it's looking likely this bonus here^ will be waaaay out of reach. Also, did we have a final scoreboard on the 2019-24 game?
Sean 6,242 Posted June 25 Also on the thread I announce my election night "Portillo Moment Game ". Rules are as follows: Pick 25 MP`s standing for re-election from any party. Scoring is as follows: -MP loses their seat or seat they are contesting (+1 point) -MP is a sitting cabinet minister (+10 points) -MP is a former cabinet minister ( +5 points) -MP has stood for the leadership of a westminster politcal party whilst an MP and has got to the voting stage (+15 Points) -MP has served in a Shadow Cabinet Role (+10 points) -MP has been Leader of the House of Commons (+20 Points) -MP has been Leader of a Westminster Political Party (+30 points) -MP has served in one of the Four Great offices of State but has not been PM: Chancellor, Home Secretary Foreign Secretary( +40 Points) -MP has been Deputy Prime Minister (+45 Points) -Lindsay Hoyle as Speaker will score you (+50 points) -Unique Picks will score you (+ 50 Points) -MP has been Prime Minister (+ 100 points) Entries open from 1st July 2024 at 00:00 and end on 21:59 on the 4th July 2024. Points are not cumulative and the highest score you will get for an MP is the highest of the criteria set out that applies to them.
