I was just reading about her earlier this week to see why she disappeared after Reba. She took an extended leave of absence during the show's season 5 to go to an anorexia rehab centre. Sad about this, she might not have been part of the Golden Age but her younger sister Geraldine Brooks made her debut in one of my favourite Joan Crawford films, Possessed (1947). However, because there are multiple people of that name on IMDb there was no way to be absolute certain.
