Qin Hanzhang has been hospitalized for pneumonia recently, but has been already discharged. Still, he's getting frailer and frailer...

I once acted for a guy who was setting up a company to import cheap goods and sell them on internet. He'd been out to Fukuoka and met them and everything and happily had sent over his GBP50k payment in advance.

I made a joke that if the k had been a v I'd have been a bit worried because he would have sent £50k to Fukuova.

He duly was fucked over and the joke became less funny.

Little list of master athletes who seem to be really indestructible, though they are known for no reason other than their longevity. Anyway I think almost all of them will live past 110, and someone (cough cough Fauja Singh) past 115. Here they are:

*Stanislaw Kowalski (1910), oldest man in Poland too

*Hidekichi Miyazaki (1910), known as the Golden Bolt.

*Fauja Singh (1911), the Sikh Tornado.

*Robert Marchand (1911), cyclist and commie.

*Mieko Nagaoka (1914) Japanese swimmer

*Ida Keeling (1915)

*Donald Pellmann (1915) broke Miyazaki's records

*Giuseppe Ottaviani (1916)

*Frederico Fisher (1917) current champ

*Ugo Sansonetti (1919) manager and athlete

Though they all seem ridicolous while doing their activities, I swear there is a good possibility at least one of these ten lives past 120.

Ugo Sansonetti dead at 100. Prematurely.

Do you want to add Julia "Hurricane" Hawkins to the list? 103 and still competing.

There is this Chinese one  http://life.eastmoney.com/a/201908161207879672.html. Not sure if it's considered legit or not though...

Google translate had a tough time with this one. At least I hope it made a mistake....

Beijing Qin Hanzhang Wine Sales Co., Ltd. said that the death of Qin Hanzhang is Chinese food.

Yes, this dog is dead. To be honest, Shin has appeared downbeat since this happened, and what's the point in going on if you're 114 and you just lost your dog?

Shin Matsushita has died at the age of 115 years, 150 days. She was the third-oldest living person in the world.

Seriously, that chicken scratch isn’t proof of anything.  The ‘110 Club’ and Wiki do not shew her as dead.  They may, when they get something they can READ!

Japan recently had a "Day of respect for the elderly", or something like that. Kane Tanaka was celebrated, too:

https://www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/news/20190916_28/

Soeur André got a package of chocolate last week:

http://www.ilgiornale.it/news/preghiera-e-cioccolato-io-decana-deuropa-1753230.html

She doesn't move anymore and her main happiness is being able to pray daily (and chocolate).

America now has another super-centenarian World War II again, so the new Richard Overton is Lawrence Brooks:

https://www.warhistoryonline.com/news/veteran-3.html

Switching to the oldest people with fame beyond age:

Cecilia Seghizzi celebrated her 111th birthday this month:

Still looking stable, sitting in that chair there.

Renée Simonot turned 108 this month. Her daughter says that she's been living in a "maison", so I guess, a care home, for 2-3 years. But she isn't ill and there is still energy:

EIleen Ash got a picture of herself last month, she's still walking and looking pretty well even though she feels like 200:

Ash said "she felt like 200" because she had a portrait as a historical figure, I think. Physically she look amazing. I've already posted about Seghizzi's birthday. Her health has considered worsened since last December.
