Paul Bearer 6,109 Posted November 12, 2005 They have also predicted that it shall be one of the coldest winters (UK) on record so thats a bonus. I doubt it will be that cold. How is it a bonus? None of the DeathList candidates resident in the UK are poverty stricken. I'm sure they can afford to have very well heated homes. They might slip on some ice or snow. Apparently the Thames is going to freeze for the first time since 1962. Sorry to disagree with you, but the weathermen/women can't predict the weather a couple of DAYS in advance, so what chance do you think they have of predicting the weather months in advance. When I said a cold snap, I meant a couple of days, not the next ice age.
BrunoBrimley 86 Posted November 12, 2005 Actrually the weather forecasters can't even tell you what the weather is at the time they are announcing the weather.......
BrunoBrimley 86 Posted November 12, 2005 I find going around with my eyes closed adds a certain piquancy to life, especially when crossing a busy road. You really are best off trying this on 8 lane highways.......

You really do put too much faith in weather forecasters. I'll believe it when I see it. I did say apparently. Perhaps we should ask Weatherman90.

in eternum+ 22 Posted November 15, 2005 ive got a feeling that there wont be any more deathlist hits this year We're coming into a cold snap now Iain, that might take one or two of them, don't be too down hearted There is still plenty of time, so I would not yet lose hope. Regards, ff Deathlist.net Graduates in November and December Ray Moore – December 1st, 1989 Dan Maskell – December 10th, 1992 Bill Bixby – November 21st, 1993 Paul Eddington – November 4th, 1995 Jackie Mann – November 12th, 1995 Dean Martin – December 25th, 1995 Dr. Hastings Banda – November 27th, 1997 Lord Lew Grade – December 13th, 1998 Quentin Crisp – November 21st, 1999 Mary Whitehouse – November 22nd, 2001 Lord Scarman – December 8th, 2004 Artie Shaw – December 30th, 2004 Having gone out on a limb and quasi-predicted a DL graduation elsewhere, it is now the time. I reckon we'll be mourning the loss of young Claude within the month (that is, between Nov 15th - Dec 15th). It will be sad to see him go, but I'm sure he'll be happy knowing that his passing is doing the DL a tremendous service. Plus, death always increases book sales, which I'm sure will be good for surviving family members etc.

Tempus Fugit 214 Posted November 16, 2005 Go to Asda for the weekly shop. Asda or Walmart lite as I prefer to call it, has a reputation to maintain. They offered this lady a paltry £100, if this had happened in the US, she'd sue for hundreds of thousands of Dollars and probably win a sizeable settlement.
