Things to do while waiting for Death ... 2005

Recommended Posts

Guest Claude
It's a spooky feeling to be the only member on the site. I have that feeling like when you share a house with a whole bunch of people and they're all out for the evening except you, and you don't know when they'll be back. (There are a few guests, but less than 10, so it really is vast quagmire of emptiness. I'm curious, though, about the guest who appears to be printing off shedloads of threads, and also emailing them somewhere. Could this be a member in disguise?...)

I'm very bored. I am procrastinating doing my work. So I was wandering round the empty halls of the site and chanced upon the Calendar. Anyone have any idea what it's for? It appears particularly blank. Can we just add things to it that we want noted? Like our birthdays? That's predominantly what I use my calendar for - to write down people's birthdays so that I don't forget them. Or perhaps, um, events? I give up!

Don't forget the 'Anonymous Users...' We're watching you all the time Mwhahahhaaaaaa!

A few rounds of Scrabble usually take care of boredom while waiting for death.

Unfortunately, you need another person to play with. :)

This little game has been tormenting me all day.

My best score is currently 12 seconds. Mr Boudicca arrived home from work this evening and managed to reach the 21 second mark on his third attempt!

Hint.

Get a antediluvian PC,

Start downloading music on Limewire,

Log on to Deathlist,

Open at least 5 other web pages,

Play the game.

Result 176.91 seconds.

I have my cocked hat ready, please place your scores therein to save me the bother knocking them.

If you have multiple personalities then the problem is solved :)

Wow! Amazing website. Dare I ask how you found it? (Maybe you were thinking of selling your daughter?)

Here Maybe?

Oops! Sorry AtJ.

I was googling Hell Houses. Not that the thought of selling my child isn't sometimes tempting :)

I'm definitely going to join. Although I must say I'm jealous of their smart forum software.

That's because it's "invisioned and powered by the Holy Ghost".

Judging by todays standard, this thread should be renamed:

'Things to do while waiting on someone to post'

It's agonising. I'm so close to my 1000 post but yet so far......
