Banshees Scream 110 Posted January 24, 2006 Dr. Hackenslash, oh my lord what an achievement, puts Bruno to shame. I remember those dim and distant days (last August) when my 20 posts caused a certain indignation, how the times have changed. I believe that in many of my posts i've said - That the times are changing around here. The golden age of the DL is now fading and members are joining left and right. Standards have gone, By August Tempus things may look and seem alot different around here.

Windsor 2,233 Posted January 24, 2006 Does this make me a deathlist revolutionary?
Tuber Mirum 125 Posted January 24, 2006 Does this make me a deathlist revolutionary? No, it just means that the Deathlist is alive and well and in a constant state of flux. For better or for worse.
Godot 149 Posted January 24, 2006 Dr Hackenslash might have been charging all over the place today but some of his postings were most amusing and informative. I had never heard of that horse death and I thought the Cludo pic rather good. Anyway Mrs Hackenslash is bound to catch up with him and turn him out to work. I reckon he should have reached Get a life status (?) by the end of next month at this rate. It's the constant changing of threads I can't cope with. Still, have just been on a fishing forum and they're falling out in lumps constantly. At least people don't come on here trying to sell anything, not even a coffin. I suppose the site could take ads for funerals etc., the etc. being I don't know what - euthenasia services? Guns for hire?
Entropy 5 Posted January 24, 2006 Taxidermists, embalmers, freeze-your-corpse-and-store-it merchants, clairvoyants (100% success for the 2007 list guaranteed if you don't read the small print)... Ought to be possible.
Canadian Paul 97 Posted January 24, 2006 Dr Hackenslash might have been charging all over the place today but some of his postings were most amusing and informative. Plus I dig the fact that he took me up on the Hulk Hogan avatar idea for the time being. Picked a good shot of the man too.

Dr Hackenslash 25 Posted January 24, 2006 I've not been charging about. I just happen to want to add opinions to current threads... And I have, for my sins, a memory that can switch between threads fairly easily.

Sometimes I think I will meet my maker while watching that sort of film, one hand on the remote, the other....

Godot 149 Posted January 25, 2006 And exactly what kind of animal is Spotty? She just said that she'd punish me if I tell, so I wont. regards, Hein Maybe this Spotty? Bravo! I loved the Woodentops, wish I'd have thought of a way to get them on the DL. Watch With Mother, Circa 1960: Monday was Picture Book, Tuesday I think was Rag Tag and Bobtail (I remember being shocked once when I saw one of them had legs), Wednesday maybe was Andy Pandy (I could never stand Andy Pandy, only watched it for Teddy), Thursday (might have got days mixed up here) was Bill and ben (my all time favourite) and Friday was The Woodentops. Then they had to ruin it all with imposters like Trumpton and Camberwick Green, but that was after my time.

I always thought it was a bit kinky when teddy went to bed with Andy Pandy in that basket - and sometimes even a threesome with Looby Loo.
Godot 149 Posted January 25, 2006 I quite liked Looby Loo, nice cheeks. I think that my dislike of Andy Pandy was the first inclination I had that I wasn't a puff (gay meaning happy in those days). I would think it almost impossible to admire AP and be straight. Mind you, if I liked teddy what does that say? But I did like teddy. There were no such difficulties with the flower pot men. little weed seemed to know everything. As for Slowcoach, I would very nearly wet myself with excitement when he appeared. Godot 149 Posted January 25, 2006 If I can just lie down on the couch a minute I will admit that Watch with Mother left a profound impression on me. It helped me to get all my ducks in order and, I have to say, there's a few people out there today who never managed that.
