Guest maggiethatcher Posted August 22, 2005 if Mo Mowlam dies and Maggie Thatcher lives it just proves theres no justice in this world Unfortunataely, she has just died. She beat cancer then died from a head injury, i believe. It should've been Thatcher. MilkSnatcher.com
MyBrainHurts2 4 Posted September 6, 2005 In seriousness...I would have thought that she is notb a strong contender for DL 2006 due to the fact that she is suffering ( only currently I might add) from predominantly mental rather than physical problems. She should hang around for years yet. I heard that she's done a little sundowning and Alzheimer's is starting to shine through so if she does stick around for years to come, know that it's as a tortured zombie shell of a person. Oh please please please, if there is a god, don't let her make it to 80........... Just thought, I wonder if she qualifies for a community charge ( poll tax in a nicer name) rebate? themaninblack 2,112 Posted October 8, 2005 November 22nd 1990 was the real big day when she announced her resignation. A day I'll never forget. Funnily enough, my Parents were probably the first in Britian to know this, as they were listening to Irish radio on shortwave when they heard the news. They rushed to the TV, but there was no announcement in Britian untill shortly after.
Guest iain Posted October 8, 2005 its 15 years since her resignation as PM..its unlikely she'l live for another 15 years.Im betting she'll probably snuff it in her mid to late 80s.She doesnt really have enough reason to live till shes 90 now that her husbands dead and her son keeps causing problems for her.Plus shes facing questions over her role in the scandal thats led to the indictment of the repulblican congressional leader in the states. All this has to be putting pressure on someonme whos allready suffered several small strokes. She is having a party with 650 guests to celebrate her 80th birthday on Thursday, so I don't think that she is ready to die just yet.
