TQR 14,387 Posted May 24 I still can't seem to resize images (hence them always being mahoosive). I can change the number, but then clicking 'update' does nothing. It's been like this for a while, on both my phone and my laptop.

It's been like this for a while, on both my phone and my laptop. Might help: Save them locally and use something like 'paint' to resize it. Obviously that's a pc and m$oft windoze. I'd imagine there's something similar in the Apple world if your laptop is a mac. Won't help - but gets it off my chest: Phones - you'd have to ask somebody else, I have one of course but CBA with it when I have a pc in front of me with a 40" screen instead of a 6" one. If I'm out, I'm not trying to post here. Also if the image is a link rather than a local copy I don't know how, I think I tried once and gave up and just download them to resize locally. It's an ROI thing, I don't post enough images to spend the effort. I'm absolutely certain others know more, but in the absence of any answer so far.....

It's been like this for a while, on both my phone and my laptop. What number, what update? I resize by pasting the image and clicking on "source" and editing the html. Unedited: Resized: (height=300) Resized (width=100) Once the source is displayed I find the img tag and before the closing ">" insert width=300 (or your favourite width, or indeed height e.g. height=450) and click OK on the window. This is for Windoes PC. See @En Passant's post above for how I do it on a phone.

HTML is interpreted by the browser not the OS. I'll certainly give that a go next time.

YoungWillz 21,037 Posted May 27 Yeah, I'm too dense to work out what the resizing of photos above actually means. We have a tool to resize but it no longer works. Also, some folk are able to post Twitter/Xmusk links, but whenever I post mine, it doesn't automatically display the tweet like it used to. Something has obviously gone tits up here somewhere. Commtech Sio Bibble 2,030 Posted October 31 Is there anyway to change the 'ignore' setting so that it automatically marks all ignored user's posts as read. There have been numerous times recently where one of the few users I have on my ignore list has posted in a thread with no other new posts and I have had to check the thread to see if anyone else has posted and mark it as read. In my opinion the ignore feature just seems pointless when I still have to mark an ignored user's posts as read, despite having no intention of ever reading them. Surely ignored users should be except from the 'read' or 'unread' system.
