Windsor 2,235 Posted December 15, 2005 I have entered also. I am 'Windsor the Troll' again. Very inventive even if I do say so myself....
Slave to the Grave 26 Posted December 16, 2005 (edited) I'm going to give it a whirl. I've done it. Although three deadpools in one night has quite exhausted me. I must retire. Edited December 16, 2005 by Slave to the Grave
Handrejka 1,904 Posted December 17, 2005 Thanks. I'm in three already, just one more to do now

Tempus Fugit 214 Posted January 6, 2006 I've just opened a side bet on here for Ariel Sharon. It's only open to those who are playing in the dead pool though I've made my guess, Ariel, please be a good chap and snuff it soonish.
Slave to the Grave 26 Posted January 8, 2006 I have noticed that Alan Gilzean has been listed by, I assume, our very own Mr. Grobler. This man appears to have disappeared into thin air. At a relatively recent dinner to honour Bill Nicholson apparently even his old team mates did not know of his whereabouts. Is his inclusion based on some inside information, or just a guess (perhaps by a bitter Dundee United fan)? The latter I hope.
Handrejka 1,904 Posted January 22, 2006 I've updated the score board for those of you interested. I'll be off-line for a week so any deaths in that time will be updated after 29th Jan.

And I'm still the leader, Yay. I'd forgotten that Rugova was in my team.

The latter I hope sorry for slight delay in replying....theres so much to read/research...and so little time ! No insider knowledge.... Cant remember where Gilzean come from....I must have been searching on "Spurs players from the 60s" or something....and his name popped up . He looked old even when I saw him play....so presumably if no one knows of his whereabouts , theres a good chance he's already gone !

Found the following, but it's from 1996, so I didn't bother pasting a link: Alan Gilzean (Tottenham Hotspur) Had a spell in South Africa, then returned to manage Stevenage from May 1975 -August 1976. He now runs a haulage firm in Enfield. So, he might still be with us. Mind you, if he is, it must be due to all that sunshine at his favoured holiday hotspot: Hotspur Holidays!
