Perhaps 1,423 Posted April 4, 2023 Bob Knight hospitalised and recently released for an 'acute illness'. Declining health reports in 2019, looking frail in videos in 2020, and no longer replying to fanmail as of last year due to illness are all noted here. I don't fancy his chances of seeing the year out.

Sir Creep 7,070 Posted May 9, 2023 On 07/02/2023 at 07:37, Spade_Cooley said: So for those of us who plumped for collegiate basketball coaching legend Denny Crum in this year's DDP, we probably saw message board talk that he'd been moved to hospice in early December. This news story from a few days ago, however, says that he's "fighting health issues at home" that mean he's unable to leave his house. How are we interpreting that? I'm guessing that the hospice wasn't fully palliative, and it was just so they could sort his home out so it's comfortable for him to slowly die there over the next few months. Louisville legend and Hall of Fame coach Denny Crum has died. The UofL sports information director and close friend of the coach confirmed Crum died at his home Tuesday morning. Crum coached the University of Louisville men's basketball team from 1971 to 2001. He'll forever be remembered as the man who brought Louisville basketball to prominence. He brought the team, and the city, their first-ever national championship in 1980. SC
