in eternum+ 22 Posted February 27, 2006 An excellent resource! I am personally very grateful to the above-contributing geeks, for helping me to leave my chat-virgin self in the past. BTW - my anorak still looks gorgeous, even though I haven't taken it off since it was given me.
Canadian Paul 97 Posted February 27, 2006 I think we should also have a list of acceptable abbreviations for member names, since people tend to use those a lot... I go by CP of course, but I don't want to be the one who sets the standard for other users...

I go by CP of course, but I don't want to be the one who sets the standard for other users... I'm fascinated by the member name IKYWN. I wonder how that one would be abbreviated or is it already an abbreviation. Google didn't help. Nor did the Member's User Names thread. Perhaps I should MMOB. The Four Horsemen 26 Posted February 28, 2006 As far as I remember it stands for "I Kill You With Ninja" but perhaps the honourable member could confirm this?

Think these can be safely ignored since Deathlisters are, by and large, very fussy about the use of proper punctuation and grammar. My very first post was criticised because I ahd dared to take the lazy "writing on the internet" option of DOING IT ALL IN UPPER CASE.

My very first post was criticised because I ahd dared to take the lazy "writing on the internet" option of DOING IT ALL IN UPPER CASE. Milwall: This was in reference to people using the CHAT room it has nothing to do with the Forum. It was put up (if you bothered to read what I wrote at all) because some of the users in the chat were asking what the abbreviations meant. Furthermore, what has my post got to do with you being criticised for shouting...that's not my fault.

Windsor 2,233 Posted March 2, 2006 I've stumbled across this forum,do none of you have a life?what a waste. there seems to be total disregard for the elderly and infirm. That's not true, we regard them as sick and infirm and therefore stick the old codgers on the list.
