We've had a thread and posts on here before detailing the amazing longevity of some writers. Clearly they stand little chance of death in a traffic accident on the way to work since most of them commute a few rooms in their homes and it's a job that keeps your mind active.

 

Perry and Croft of Dad's Army fame might almost be famous enough to count here. David Croft is a bit of a luvvie who does radio appearances and such like and even wrote his autobiography. He's also pretty damn healthy for an old man.

Interestingly, I see from IMDB that her first film was entitled Nudist Memories.

 

Regarding the subsequent comments on Ms. Karen, the clue is in the word "actress". I think you will find that they used some very complex stuff called "make-up", along with false teeth and warts, and ill-fitting clothes, the result being that in "OTB" she looked down right ugly. I'm sure there were many spreads of her in the Sunday tabloids at the time in which, whilst not quite competing with the likes of Audrey Hepburn, she looked rather fetching. I'm sure she had a pretty good figure on her, which showed off very well in a swimsuit.
