He appeared on the popular youth oriented sitcom Saved By The Bell in the late 80s/early 90's where he portrayed the charecter Samuel "Screech" Powers. He then appeared on the spinoff series Saved By The Bell:The College Years which was cancelled after 1 season in 1994.. After The College Years cancellation he returned to the other Saved By The Bell spinoff "Saved By The Bell:The New Class" where he again reprised his role as Samuel "Screech" Powers playing the assistant to Principal Rod Belding until the shows cancellation in the year 2000.
