Godot 149 Posted January 25, 2006 Chris McKinstry has committed suicide at the age of 38.He was one of the leading researchers in artificial intelligence in the world and operated the worlds largest telescope in Chile..He posted his suicide note on his weblog shortly after taking an overdose of pills and died the same afternoon. Young & obviously a brilliant mind, so it seems a shame. I also note that he lists Moby under his favourite music, but I can't fathom why this stands out for me or even if it has any relevence- but I do know that I listened to an ex-girlfriend's Moby CD once & I was proper depressed for days.
