Guest Guest Posted September 7, 2005 We prefer roast babies to schnitzel, far more succulent. Saddam aint such a bad chap you know. Sure he murdered tens of thousands, and engaged in a spot of genocide.Nobody's perfect, but at least when old saddam was in charge you could walk the streets of Baghdad in relative safety. Providing of course you weren't up to no good. Now look at the place, it's a right sodding mess. Iraq needs firm leadership,Saddam is waiting in the wings ready to provide it. Come on USA, give old Saddam a second chance. What harm can it do.

football_fan 42 Posted September 8, 2005 Lawyer denies Saddam confession Saddam Hussein's chief lawyer has denied claims the ex-Iraqi president confessed to ordering mass killings and executions during his regime. Khalil Dulaimi told Reuters news agency "there was no confession" adding that no investigation had implicated him. The Iraqi president said on Tuesday that Saddam Hussein had admitted to a judge that he had waged a campaign against the Kurds. Saddam Hussein's trial will start on 19 October, the Iraqi government has said.

Guest iain Posted September 15, 2005 Saddam Husseins trial which begins next month is expected to last only a few weeks before hes found guilty and sentenced to death. In the arab world execution is usuallyu carried out immediately after sentence, therefore its likely that Sadam Hussein will be dead by xmas. Osama Bin Laden may allready be dead or he may live for many years to come..we'll probably never know anyway. So Saddam will be first to go.

I would just love to see his acctual trial telivised not reacted as in Michael Jacksons. I'm sure if he does get executed many of his people would enjoy to view it since many of them hold a great disliking to the former dictator. Just as a suggestion i thought perhaps the USA should try something new. I thought hanging Saddam in yankee stadium might be a very catchy idea but life in jail is a much more slow and painful punishment.

Does that mean he'll be put in front of a firing squad, and then, and only then, will it be decided to use real bullets or blanks?
