relevant and interesting

But of course, gratuitous abuse of this shuffling excuse for an actor, over-rated sex god and - frankly hilarious - broken down showbiz wreck must come only after we've considered the relevant and interesting aspects of his existence.

Wonder where he stands on global warming after such conspicious support of coal fires in those old television adverts.

Now you're just be provocative, trying to draw out his fan.

At least Dickie 'O isn't a fake like Lemmy with his cold tea.

Keef Richards has the cold tea. Lemmy did - for real - survive an amphetamine bender that would've killed mere mortals like us.

My mistake,

how about a duet Dickie 'O and Lemmy, together at last.

Now you're talking, maybe on a song like 'Where Did All The Good Times Go?'

Relevant and interesting in the context of deathlist Mary!

Very true Millie.

We are our own justification and need no other authority. Oddly, an attitude I'd imagine is as fashionable around the Isle of Dogs as it is in West Cumbria. I say we pull this shagged out showbiz wreck Dickie O back to the top of the pile again and do so repeatedly. We'll twunt the man before the first shoots of spring break the glistening dew, or summat. You mark my words.

Perhaps you could describe to us how we're evil? How a simple site that makes educated guesses on who may or not die be evil? Evil is a subjective truth, there is no objective good or evil.

Don't hate me because I'm drunk.

So you've only just joined cyberspace then. Check out the stuff Gary Glitter favours as on-line entertainment then come back and tell us we've got a problem. Oh, and thanks for taking Dickie O one step closer to the twunting he deserves.

Perhaps you could pose the same question to all the newspapers, TV news broadcasts and internet news sites, they seem to talk a lot about people dying.

George Best's funeral for instance was a media circus, we are models of restraint by comparison.

George Best has died. You people are talking about people who are living, what's wrong with you?

Well at some point the living inevitably die, so where is the harm in speculating on their demise.

I guess death must be a taboo subject for you, don't hide from it, embrace your mortality for it defines your very being.

From the humblest single cell organism to a universe, all things come to an end.

What does George Best have to do with anything.

So Guest, are you saying that those other media sources do not discuss, report and speculate on the possible demise of people who are still alive? They do, and a good example of that was what happened in the case of George Best.

For weeks before he died, there were a lot of speculation about his imminent death in the newspapers, TV news broadcasts and Internet news sites.

Beside George Best, there are countless examples, such as Pope John Paul II, Yasser Arafat, George Harrison, King Fahd, Peter Jennings and William Rehnquist who received a lot of media attention when they were still alive, but gravely ill.

Why are you singling out deathlist.net, and at the same time absolving all the media sources of the same exact thing?

Stop making excuses for yourselfs. This is a vile and tastless site. You are all a bunch of evil bastards, i can smell you from here. What goes around comes around and believe me you will understand one day. Dont bother to reply as i wont be reading it. OVER AND OUT.

Interesting to ponder how "Guest" got here. He presumably googled Richard O'Sullivan and wound up not only on this site but also in this thread. The accumalated weight of all DL posting seems to be increasing the ammount of casual traffic we pick up.

A very quick look on Google reveals that if you search for Richard O'Sullivan we are the fourth entry behind only the BBC and IMDB. Does anyone know of any other searches that are likely to bring in the casual punters?

We're not on Yahoo, Gigablast or Mamma's front page for "Richard O'Sullivan."

Well that was my first "getting signed out in the middle of a session" experience.

It's not at all like the Jimi Hendrix experience.

Thank you. And thank you for giving the name of two more search engines.
