From Cleric To Relic

Recommended Posts

DEFI ITELY a guy to keep an eye on for 2016....Archbishop Daniel Buechlein from Indiana (78) has what's termed a minor stroke, in hospital a couple days. No biggie.

But look at this: "Archbishop Buechlein...has suffered a series of health problems...In 2008, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma and underwent several weeks of chemotherapy and radiation treatments. The treatments were successful and he is cancer free. In 2009, Archbishop Buechlein had shoulder replacement surgery and in 2010 he had surgery to remove a benign tumor from his stomach."

He's been away from the hospital too long. I foresee a series of setbacks. The perfect DP sleeper pick.

How about a woman here for once, although not a 'cleric' by any means .

The Reverend Larissa Kwong Abazia, Vice Moderator of the 221st General Assembly (2014) of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is going to get chemo.

Special place in hell for Benny Hinn when he dies, the friggin thief. My commentary aside, the Devil appears to be rubbing his hands in delight.

Updating story, claims didn't have heart attack. Says fatigue.

Isn't it amazing how Billy Graham has defied the odds and lasted as long as he has, outliving so many of his contemporaries. It makes one wonder whether he really does have some kind of special connection with God.I believe it has been speculated that he is destined to live until the Day of Judgement (if you believe in that sort of thing). As liong as he's still alive we have to worry that the end of the world might happen soon !

Nah, I survived about a dozen predicted ends of the world, so I don't lose sleep on the next one.

Robert H Schuller is finally dead. A few DDP big dogs will be eagerly awaiting the Daily Mail rewrite of that obit.

That's Billy Graham outlived another one of his colleagues !

Edit: 2015 not a good year if your surname is Taylor.

L. Tom Perry (92) has thyroid cancer and will begin radiation treatment. Perry is the second-most senior member of the high-level Mormon governing body called the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. He is also the oldest of the group.

The church also said that Richard G. Scott (86), another member of the Quorum, was hospitalized Thursday night with gastrointestinal bleeding. Scott is resting now after the bleeding was brought under control.

That's right, Sir Creep don't play around. He brings you two names at a time!

Sounds like it will be the Quorum of the Ten Apostles soon. Perry's TREATMENT is going to kill him dead. He won't see 2016 or Sir Creep will convert.

Former Vancouver Archbishop Ray Roussin passes

http://www.theprovince.com/life/Former+Vancouver+archbishop+Raymond+Roussin+dies+aged/11002315/story.html

I met him in a receiving line once but didn't know him personally. He was famous/imfamous around here for resigning/getting fired because he talked openly about his depression.
