Doctors are doing superhuman efforts to keep Anastasios alive. His condition drastically deteriorated yesterday, and it's at least the fourth significant deterioration in the last month.

A family member of mine who works at that hospital has information that the doctors have said that nothing can't be fixed and that everything is a matter of minutes.:pop:

Of the remaining nonagenarian Orthodox leaders, Demetrios of America and Filaret of Kyiv are doing incredibly well. Ilia II is... well, how are we sure he is not already dead?

Smaller name than the others but my "favourite" is Irenaios of Crete (91) who has suffered from ALS and dementia for four or five years but always looks like he's having the time of his life.

Bishop Richard Williamson, who has been in the news this week for denying the Holocaust and then apologising to The Pope for his comments, is reported to be dying of cancer.

Richard Williamson seemingly in his last days. There have been premature reports of his death, though he is not expected to last long.

Will be a DDP LOTM when it happens. He was selected at least once before.

He’s listed as dead on Wikipedia now, but the source does not mention his death. However, the website Catholic Hierarchy, usually reliable, also has him as deceased. Awaiting better sources.

Catholic Hierarchy is not reliable, they are clowns. They falsely announced Julius Jia Zhiguo dead some time ago.

Williamson is still alive.

I’ve found them to have information about others who had dropped off the map. Perhaps they are quick to add rumored information.

That's really unfair. They're the most comprehensive and thorough record holders for Catholic bishops and their respective dioceses online. They've made one or two mistakes with countries where communication with the outside world is somewhat limited. I wouldn't say that makes them clowns. They often break the news on deaths of minor bishops so I'd say they do a great job.
