Not necessarily.  The spark that created Person A might simply spark a different life instead.

As I sometimes reflect: if the chain of events that led to my parents meeting had not happened, I would have been somebody else.  Or something else, possibly.

I'd always imagined you as looking very elegant like Audrey Hepburn but all I see now is Boris Karloff.  :o  :tomatododge:

Former Miami Hurricanes running back Tyrone Moss died Thursday night (July 27) the age of 33.  Though the cause of death was initially unclear, Moss' former high school football coach, Steve Davis, told The Sun-Sentinel that the running back had been dealing with an unspecified medical issue.

Moss was a first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection in 2005 and ran for 1,942 yards and 26 touchdowns at Miami. A spate of injuries slowed him toward the end of his career, however, and he ultimately never played a snap in the NFL.

The article used the same term.  Granted, it's not the Queen's English and a bit of a lazy term.  However, we can express our thoughts with a plethora of grammatic alternatives here, across the pond, when the need arises.
