Reading between the lines British dectectives are reinvestigating an alleged sighting in Spain right after Maddie's disappearance. The alleged sighting has the media friendly angle of the woman sought by police bearing a striking resemblance to Victoria Beckham. My own theory is she was abducted taken to spain then morocco then to the middle east somewhere to be raised as a wife for some rich arab . Bibliogryphon 8,662 Posted September 10, 2012 The McCann's biggest problem is that they do not come across as very sympathetic individuals and the elephant in the room (Why did you leave them alone in the first place?) seems to be considered an unfair question when presented with their tragic (sic) plight. Also they have had their side of the story published in a best selling book (and people call the DL ghoulish) but go to extreme lengths to stop somebody publishing an alternative point of view. I for one would be quite interested (public library, not £19.99) to read it. However without a body there is no evidence against anybody and everyone will continue to think as before. But I will leave you with one thought. If the McCanns had been in any way guilty and this had come out then the whole British media would have to admit to have been taken in to an extraordinary degree which may have had more of an impact than the Levison enquiry. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Any splodge of calls to each other, outside the obvious times would start the ball rolling as to what may indicate a change of events. Likewise any cover up actions may be indicated by phone traffic "down-wind infection" route. 3000 phone records sounds like a lot but a mass of data could, with the right analysis, be the main key to events that could clear or convict the McCanns. During the holiday hunt for her there was to my understanding a period when they went to Spain to "leaflet". Were their phone cell signals apart from one another? One being noted as close to a rubbish tip where Madeleine's body can still now found buried.
