Dia de los Muertos 7 Posted March 30, 2009 Royalty also exists in a similar way as it allows society to easily peer into their lives. Not sure I agree with this point. We don't easily peer into their lives at all.... hey, we are not even sure of how much of our money they spend on travel.
Windsor 2,233 Posted March 30, 2009 Michael Jackson is to attend Jade Goody's funeral. Jackson has vowed to support Goody's family in any way he can following her death... Babysitter? At least it would give them a sob story to make a million from.
Gunjaman5000 30 Posted March 30, 2009 My google search for a shrine to Jade Goody didn't bring the results I expected. That's a shrine to a jade Goodie. I'll get me coat...

Cowboy Ronnie 78 Posted March 30, 2009 If the people of Bermondsey get their way, then there will be a statue of her there: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/showbiz/a15119...-home-town.html They might as well paint a big target on it and give the local hoodie brigade the cans of spray paint that will inevitably be used to deface it. What odds on her being in Madam Tussauds by the end of the year?
Ulitzer95 12,655 Posted March 30, 2009 Any guesses as to what this statue might look like? or maybe....

Terminator 13 Posted March 30, 2009 If the people of Bermondsey get their way, then there will be a statue of her there: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/showbiz/a15119...-home-town.html When she's forgotton (hopefully SOON), they could simply rename the statue in honour of Mat Lucas

BTW Lard, those tits aren't real and will presumably be taken out before the funeral. If there's a cremation they could go POP!

Dia de los Muertos 7 Posted March 31, 2009 Now this should be fun... I am tempted to watch the funeral, if only to hear Jack read his "Ode to Jade".
Windsor 2,233 Posted March 31, 2009 Thanks for cheering up what has otherwise been a depressingly boring, monotonous day. (Yes, I'm easily pleased)

Vinegar Tits 606 Posted April 4, 2009 Pictures of the procession in Bermondsey taken by a friend who I'm sure was paying his respects/recording the event for posterity and certainly not rubbernecking in any way.

Terminator 13 Posted April 7, 2009 Parkinson: 'Goody was exploited' ...she came to represent "all that's paltry and wretched about Britain", and was "the perfect victim of our times".. I don't suppose Max Clifford is Parky's publicist, then?
Anubis the Jackal 77 Posted April 7, 2009 Eastertide is once more upon us, and as is traditional in my household we all gather together to paint stupid faces on chicken eggs and gaily smash them to smithereens on some rocks. I usually try to keep it morbid with for example my pairing of Bob Woolmer and Inzaman Ul-Haq from 2007 and the lovely Paul McCartney with Heather Mills from last year Absolutely NO prizes for guessing who will be rolling down a fell somewhere in The Lake District this year...Photos to follow. I agree with Parky, interestingly, MSN has a different slant 'Michael Parkinson Slams Jade Goody' Max doesn't seem to agree Jade's publicist and friend Max Clifford said: "I'm very sad and surprised at his comments." Ben Foster 0 Posted April 9, 2009 The outpouring of tabloid mournography following Jade's death leads me to conclude that we are, indeed, living at the very end of western civilisation.
